How to connect your league to the Draft Tracker

Connecting Your Draft to the Draft Tracker

How Elite Fantasy Basketball’s Draft Tracker connects to your live draft differs from platform to platform. Fantrax works right out of the box with no extra setup. Yahoo and ESPN both require the free EFB Draft Tracker Extension, since those platforms don’t allow direct outside access to live draft data the way Fantrax does.

Yahoo

Requires the free EFB Draft Tracker Extension.

Note: This will change later in draft season once the direct line to Yahoo becomes available.

  1. Install the EFB Draft Tracker Extension from the Chrome Web Store (one-time setup). Here is the link: EFB Draft Tracker Extension
  2. Make sure you’re signed into Yahoo in the same browser you’re using for the Draft Tracker.
  3. In the Draft Tracker, select Yahoo as your platform.
  4. Copy your league ID from the draft room URL and enter it into the League ID box in the Draft Tool. The league ID will be the number that comes after /nba/ in the URL. The League ID will look something like 2290473 for mocks. For real drafts, the ID will usually be shorter, but it will be in the same spot.
  5. Click Load / Refresh Draft once a pick has been made to begin pulling in the data.

Yahoo drafts don’t need a separate tab open — the extension can read your draft results as long as you’re logged into Yahoo in that browser. Click Load / Refresh Draft again during the draft to pull in the latest picks.

ESPN

Requires the EFB Draft Tracker Extension, but with one extra step for live drafts: you need your actual ESPN draft room open in its own tab.

For a live draft:

  1. Install the EFB Draft Tracker Extension from the Chrome Web Store (one-time setup). Here is the link: EFB Draft Tracker Extension
  2. Open your ESPN draft room in its own browser tab and keep it open.
  3. In a separate tab, open the Draft Tracker and select ESPN as your platform.
  4. Copy your league ID from the draft room URL and enter it into the League ID box in the Draft Tool. The League ID will be the number in the URL directly after leagueID=. It will look something like 1554879072.
  5. Click Load / Refresh Draft once a pick has been made to begin pulling in the data.

As long as your ESPN draft room tab stays open, the Draft Tracker can read live picks from it.

Fantrax

The simplest to connect—no extension needed.

  1. In the Draft Tracker, select Fantrax as your platform.
  2. Copy your league ID from the draft room URL and enter it into the League ID Box in the Draft Tool. The League ID will be the number in the URL directly after /league/. It will look something like dei9ailamt4muzzf.
  3. Click Load / Refresh Draft once a pick has been made to begin pulling in the data.

That’s it. Click Load / Refresh Draft again anytime during the draft to pull the latest picks.
