Egor Demin: Demin left this game early with a leg contusion that he thinks is minor. Players often downplay the severity of their injuries, but that’s a good sign for those who want to give the struggling sophomore more time. In 12-team leagues, Demin is not a must. Even in punt FG%, he’s just an end-of-the-roster type. Demin has managed just 7.8 PPG on 31.0 FG%, 1.5 3PG, 2.3 RPG, 2.8 APG, and 1.0 SPG in 21.8 MPG. In Yahoo points leagues, he’s just a streamer for now, but he should be watched closely, as he does have the potential to flirt with the top 100 in that setting. In ESPN points leagues, where his brutal efficiency matters, he is very unlikely to be more than a streamer this year.

Nolan Traore: Traore replaced Keon Ellis in the starting lineup. Whether or not that setup sticks is hard to say, but unless you play in an extremely deep league, it’s unlikely to matter. The starting spot likely won’t lead to big minutes with Ellis and Brown still locks to play minutes in the 20s. In most category leagues, Traore will be no more than a forgettable dimes and steals streamer. His per-minute numbers in his rookie season were extremely underwhelming.

Day’Ron Sharpe (Buy Low): Yet another quiet night from Sharpe due to foul trouble. He’s producing some strong per-minute numbers this year, but hasn’t been able to stay on the court long enough for that per-minute production to matter. Sharpe has played just 21.5 MPG over his first four games because he has picked up at least four fouls in three of those games. Despite the frustrating start, he’s a solid buy-low target for any team in need of big man numbers. He is producing 12.6 PP36 on 52.2 FG%, 10.9 RP36, 1.3 SP36, and 2.1 BP36 and does not have much competition for playing time. If he can figure out how to not foul so much, Sharpe will turn into a top-100 option and a mid-round player in friendly builds like punt threes and punt FT%. Sharpe is also a smart buy-low target in points leagues. His game is a slightly better fit for that setting, and he will come extremely cheap due to the rough start to the season.
