This season, projections that are customizable by date will be available for both Category and Points Leagues. There is a calendar feature in the new projections tool that allows you to generate projections for any date range.
For category leagues, there will be projections available for PTS, 3PM, REB, AST, STL, BLK, TO, FG%, FT%, OREB, DREB, DD, 3P%, FGM, FTM, A/TO, EFG%, and TS%.
For points leagues, there will be an option to use the default scoring for the various host sites, as well as an option for customized scoring.
You will also be able to insert your league’s rosters into the tool. That is not a mandatory step, but it does allow the tool to identify the best available players for your chosen date range. This feature will initially be available for Yahoo, ESPN, and Fantrax. If you play on a different host site, please message me, and I will update the tool to function with your host site.
The projections will be tied to the NBA’s injury report. Injured players will be removed from the projections as daily injury updates come in. Whether or not players with long-term injuries are included in the projections will be determined by the date range selected and the player’s estimated return date. For example, if a player is on a team with four games during the selected date range but is not expected to return until the third of those four games, the tool will project that player to play two games. The tool will pull the latest NBA injury report whenever the projections are generated, so the injury designations will always be up to date. The projections themselves will be updated in the morning.
Here is a screenshot of the Category Leagues Projections for a seven-day period. The projections, injury status, and player availability are based on data from the 2025-2026 season. Once Elite Fantasy Basketball launches for the 2026-2027 season, the tool will be populated with the 2026-2027 projections and the 2026-2027 NBA schedule and tied to the most recent NBA injury report.
