26/27 Deep League Fast Starts Guides – Part 2

Here are 60+ four-player combinations built around Anthony Edwards, Cooper Flagg, Jalen Johnson, Donovan Mitchell, Tyrese Haliburton, Scottie Barnes, Kevin Durant, and Jamal Murray that will give you a great chance to build a championship-level squad in leagues with 14+ teams.

Anthony Edwards (Pick 8-12)

Punt Assists

Edwards/Reaves/Duren/Alexander-Walker – This is a big start in almost all of the guard categories. This group is comfortably above average in points, threes, and FT%, with steals being about average. This is also an elite start in FG% due to Duren and the first two guards being very efficient. This combination is weak in rebounds and blocks, which is not something to concern yourself with after round four. Punt assists teams usually have no issue finishing in a very strong position in both categories.

Donovan Mitchell (Pick 10-14)

Punt FG%

Mitchell/Jamal Murray/Clingan/Dejounte Murray – This is an almost perfect per-game start in deeper leagues for teams opting to punt FG%. This group is a little light in blocks, but with Clingan on your side, you should still be ahead of a good chunk of your league in the category. This is a good start in rebounds and an excellent start in turnovers for a punt FG% team. This group addresses all three of the build’s primary weaknesses, while still putting you in a clearly above-average position in all the guard categories except for points. Reaves can replace Murray. Young works well in that spot too, although he will make it difficult to finish the draft in an even average position in turnovers.
