23/24 Week 5 Pickups

Deep League (14+ Team) Adds

Brandin Podziemski – Podziemski likely won’t play enough when Steph Curry is healthy to be more than a so-so deep league option, but given how good he’s looked the last couple of games, he’s worth a flier in most leagues in case Kerr surprises. It’s not like the Warriors have a plethora of great options on the perimeter at the moment. Their entire perimeter rotation outside of Steph and Moses Moody, who plays about 17 minutes per night, is struggling right now. In a big role, the rookie would have the potential to produce useful numbers in most of the counting categories. He had a very fantasy-friendly game at Santa Clara. As a sophomore, Podziemski averaged 19.9 PPG on 48.3 FG%, 2.5 3PG, 8.8 RPG, 3.7 APG, and 1.8 SPG. He could be someone who eventually develops into a must-add in most leagues whenever Curry sits.
