Daniel Gafford/Dereck Lively: The Mavericks absolutely annihilated the Bulls inside. Chicago has no answer for either center as the box score clearly shows. Twenty-three minutes is enough to keep Gafford on rosters for the rest of the week. After that, he’s a matchup-dependent hold in H2H leagues due to the Mavericks’ two-week Week 21 schedule. Ideally, you’ll hold him through that week because he could be a top-50 player if he continues to start for the Mavericks and because Dallas has a four-week Week 22 schedule, but if you are in a tight one, do what you have to do and figure out the next round when you get there. Since his minutes jumped into the 20s four games ago, Gafford has not missed a shot (28/28) and has averaged 16.3 PPG, 7.8 RPG, and 2.5 BPG. Despite all the low-minute games after the trade, he is still ranked inside the top 40 in nine-category leagues. Lively remains just a streamer in 12-team setups and will be a must-drop next week. Over the three games leading up to last night’s explosion, he averaged a whopping 2.7 PPG, 2.0 RPG, and 0.3 BPG.
