23/24 Week 13 Pickups
Cam Whitmore – Whitmore is coming off a dud against the lowly Pistons, but his performance in the five games leading up to the off-night makes him worth a look in 14+ team leagues. Over those five games, the rookie managed an impressive 12.2 PPG on 53.5 FG%, 1.6 3PG, 3.6 RPG, and 1.6 SPG in just 18.9 MPG. The flashy per-minute production is not a fluke. Whitmore was dominant in the G League and was an impressive per-minute producer in college, especially in threes and steals. His run of usefulness will almost certainly come to an end once Tari Eason returns. However, Eason’s return is still likely at least a week away, so we should get a few more solid games out of Whitmore with the Rockets having four games in Week 13.
