23/24 Jan. 21 Box Score Analysis (6 Games)
Mason Plumlee (Pick Up): The quiet night for Plumlee was tied to the matchup. Day’Ron Sharpe is out right now and the Nets don’t have a backup C. That led to a bunch of small-ball lineups from the Nets that the Clippers decided to match. In punt FT%, he remains a grab in 12-team leagues. If Plumlee can lock down even 26 MPG, he’ll have a shot at being a top-100 player in that setup. In other builds, he’s more of a streamer/14-team league piece because of the free throw hit. Plumlee made his free throws last night, but he’s still shooting only 58.8 percent from the line this year. That’s a problem because he gets there a fair amount (7.1 FTA36). In an expanded role, he could be one of the largest drags on the category in the league.
