23/24 Jan. 14 Box Score Analysis (5 Games)

Nick Richards: At this point, it’s hard to consider Richards a must-hold even though we still don’t have a clear timeline for Mark Williams. The minutes have been fine most nights, but the production continues to be mediocre. Richards has only been a back-end option lately despite playing around 29 MPG. Over the last month, he’s produced just top-150 value and has averaged a somewhat useful, but not very interesting 8.7 PPG on 63.1 FG%, 8.7 RPG, 1.3 APG, 0.4 SPG, and 1.1 BPG. With the Hornets off until Wednesday and only having three games in Week 13, it’s fine to drop Richards if there is a stronger long-term option out there.
