When creating these rankings, I took into account much more than just a player’s projected value. I considered whether they come with any major drags, their injury status, and their upside and floor. Due to the nature of Roto, players who are projected to miss a notable amount of games this year are a little more valuable than they are in H2H. In Roto, a poorly-timed DNP in March won’t kill your chances of winning a championship. It will only be a minor inconvenience. Because of this, you’ll see players like Joel Embiid, Kyrie Irving, and Kristaps Porzingis ranked a little higher here than they are in the H2H rankings.
